Pamela Finnerty, Ph.D. has been a psychotherapist in Washington, D.C. for over 30 years. She specializes in relationship and sexual issues with individuals and couples. Her interest in sexuality and aging spans the length of her career and includes writing and teaching. Dr. Finnerty loves working with clients of all age groups but she is especially interested in helping older couples navigate the relational and sexual challenges of aging.

Dr. Finnerty is an AASECT certified sex therapist and a Certified Sex and Couples Therapist. Formerly she was a tenured Associate Professor of Counseling and Associate Research Professor of Psychiatry at the George Washington University. Among other speaking engagements Dr. Finnerty currently teaches with Dr. Tammy Nelson at the Integrative Sex Therapy Institute (ISTI).
